The challenge

What the Zuriyat Foods e-commerce website had to do

Zuriyat Foods is a food brand selling online to customers in Pakistan. The brand needed a Zuriyat Foods e-commerce website that shoppers could trust and the team could run day to day.

Taking orders was only half the job. The owners also wanted to see what products really earned after costs, which cities ordered and whether customers came back, all inside the system that takes the orders.

Product pages also had to be clear to shoppers and to search engines, with genuine reviews visible.

Project goals

  • A store built for local shoppers
  • A simple, clear checkout
  • Profit and costs visible in reports
  • Reviews monitored in one place
  • Search-friendly product pages

What we built

A store, a reporting layer and the tools that keep the brand visible, all running on one WordPress install.

Customised WooCommerce store

A WordPress and WooCommerce store designed for the local market, with a simplified checkout flow.

Component design system

Built on our in-house component design system, so new pages and sections stay consistent as the site grows.

Profit and cost-of-goods reports

Custom reports that set profit and cost of goods against sales, so margins are clear rather than guessed.

City-wise and repeat-customer reports

See where orders come from and which customers return, straight from the store admin.

Review monitoring

Google and Facebook reviews tracked in one place, so the team can see and respond to feedback.

In-house SEO plugin

A custom plugin that manages titles, descriptions and on-page SEO from code, consistently across products.

  2. 2Design system and store

Built the WooCommerce store from reusable components on our design system.

  3. 3Reports and monitoring

Added profit, cost, city-wise and repeat-customer reports, plus review monitoring.

  4. 4Growth and support

Ongoing SEO content, social media and technical maintenance of the store.

Results

What the store gives the business

Zuriyat Foods runs its online sales, product catalogue and reporting from one WooCommerce admin. Profit, cost of goods, city-wise and repeat-customer figures sit next to the orders they come from.

Google and Facebook reviews are monitored in one place, and the SEO plugin keeps on-page optimisation consistent as new products are added. Content in English and Roman Urdu helps local shoppers understand each product.

We still maintain the store and support the brand’s growth through SEO and marketing and social media management.
